Bavarian HEMA Longsword Championship 2026

Participation fee (BFV members)              25 EUR

Participation fee (non-BFV members)     50 EUR

Schedule:

8:00 pm: Venue opens

9:00 pm: start of gear-check

10:00 pm: Tournament start!

Rules & Equipment:

The tournament follows the current versions of the DDHF framework rules and DDHF minimum requirements. By registering, participants confirm that they have read and accepted both the ruleset and equipment standards.

Categories & Eligibility:

Women’s+ Longsword

Open Longsword

Due to time constraints, registration is limited to one category per participant. Participation is restricted to 18+.

Liability

The organizer and host assume no liability. All participants are responsible for their own equipment and safety. All participants are expected to fence responsibly and with control at all times.

Jurisdiction

All participants agree to the jurisdiction of the Bavarian Fencing Association (BFV).

Media & Recording        

By registering, participants consent to the recording and publication of photo, video, and audio material taken during the event. This consent is granted free of charge, without time or location restrictions, and applies to all forms of media (including print, broadcast, and online platforms). Participants also agree to the publication of their name, club affiliation, and competition results.

HEMA Ratings 

By registering, participants agree that their tournament results may be shared with HEMA Ratings, including full name, email address, HEMA Ratings ID, club, and final ranking.
